Coaxial lights for collimated backlighting
These coaxial lights provide collimated lighting from behind the workpiece.
This suppresses the wraparound of light and enables precise dimension measuring and appearance inspection.

12V and 24V types available.
Use the KT-MFU collimated backlight unit with the HLV series spot light to increase brightness.

Features

Light emission suitable for highly accurate dimension measuring and inspection for fine burrs

Our unique optical design achieves highly accurate imaging that prevents light from wrapping around the workpiece.
Light convergence can be adjusted according to the lens on the imaging side.

Flat lights(TH2-27X27BL, TH2-27X27BL-PM) make it difficult to emphasize the edges of the silhouette because the light wraps around the workpiece.
With the MFU-34X30BL2, it is possible to emphasize the edges of the silhouette by preventing light from wrapping around the workpiece.

12V and 24V types available

The 12V type, which is the same as the existing product, and the new 24V type are available.
Using new 24V type MFU series with our 24V lighting equipment alleviates the need for multiple control units.

Exterior imaging of a push pin

When the user looks at a clear resin push pin with diffused light from a Flat Light illuminated from the rear, the clear part appears clear. However, with collimated light, the light is refracted by the clear resin, and the whole pin appears black.

Imaging of the exterior and dimensions of a condenser

If you view it with diffused light of Flat Light illuminated from the rear, the light wraps around the side of the condenser body. However, with collimated light, that wrap around is prevented and the thickness of the wires is also imaged evenly.
