The Chinese version of the RoHS Directive refers to the "Administrative Measure on the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products," which came into effect on March 1st, 2007.
Similar to the RoHS Directive enacted in Europe, this directive includes restrictions that apply to lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
